CARING FOR YOUR ALL ON 4
An implant supported denture is constructed in a similar way to a traditional denture, using replacement teeth that are attached to a gum colored acrylic base. However, instead of resting uncomfortable on the gums, an implant-supported denture has special attachments on its surface. These clip onto special attachments fitted to the dental implant that will have been surgically inserted into your jawbone. Instead of having a denture that can move around when you eat or talk, you will be able to enjoy a denture that is held firmly in place, but which can still be removed for easy cleaning.
The most important step for ensuring this is good oral hygiene.
Gently brush your teeth twice per day, utilizing a Water Pik (water flosser) for those hard to reach areas. The water flosser will help remove trapped food, debris and bacteria.
Maintain visits with your hygienist and prosthodontist for regular check-ups and professional cleanings.
